I am using a Matrox Millenium 2 AGP card, running at true color mode at 1024x768 with a NEC Multisynch monitor with no problems here. I believe that this card is quite well supported under LInux over all. The part about rebooting would lead me to question the overall stability of your entire Linux installation. I have seen LInux spontaneously reboot only under a few circumstances. I run the stock RedHat 6 Xfree86 on my desktop. All works quite well here! Mike
