I had a hell of a time migrating from DOS/Windows/NT, but am now glad that I did. I can't overstate how important research and a few good books are. But I have to admit that with this OS you'll never stop learning, there's just that much ground to cover. I haven't seen your other posts, and am a sporadic reader of these newsgroups at best, but if you e-mail a list of some of your problems, I'll do what ever I can to help you along. Just as many other good folks have done for me, something that I feel is a huge asset that Linux has over other OS communities. --Arthur Corliss Corliss Consultancy Anchorage, Alaska
