Here is the answer! suggested by Alain Cabiran. I followed everything Alain suggested and I can now login to Linux from Windows95. Thanks Alain. However, I have a problem. After I repeat a few times (5 or 6) of connect and disconnect from a terminal on Win95, I am not able to connect any more. Then looked at the process running on Linux, I noticed that there are a few (5 to 6 which probably the number what I connected and disconnected) of /sbin/agetty 38400 ttyS0 linux is running. Is this something wrong? How to fix it? Because I have only one monitor and one keyboard to use both Win95 machine and Linux machine, I have to pull out and plug keyboard/monitor. So what I'm trying to do is to use Linux only from Windows. Any comments are appreciated. Please e-mail to me as well as thread in news group. BTW, I can also use the Hyperterminal which came with Windows95 package. So my reverse serial cable was a null modem cable.
