How should I install Linux and Win2K (dual boot)

I have a 6 GB HD (Laptop) and I want to dual boot Linux and Win2K. I have a fresh disk to
install on so I don't have to save any data.

What's the best way to go about doing this? Which OS should I install first and how should
I set up the partitions. I want about 2.5 GB for Windoze and 3.5 for Linux. I do have
Partition Magic.

Thanx

Hi
Don't know if this is the best way or not but its how I do it (I use RedHat
dstro)
1: boot from the Linux cd & create a 17 meg partion Label= /boot
2: create /swap partion typically 2x amount of ram
3: create / partion in your case 3.5 gig
4: finish linux install
5: boot from dos boot floppy with fdisk & format on it & create your 2.5 dos
partion
6: install windoze

Have fun

Don't forget to make a boot floppy (the linux installer will guide you
through it) so that after you install windows you can still boot linux.
Then, once linux is running again, configure lilo.conf and run lilo do that
the machine is dual bootable (there are other ways to do it too).

I did it my installing win2k first, then used partition magic to make
a 2 linux partitions at the end of the disk and set them as ext2
and swp. Installed bootmagic, added linux to the options and pointed
it at the ext2 parition.

I booted of the mandrake7.2 cd and installed, no problems at all
