Hello there, I have noticed something kinda interesting about the Linux boxen on my network. Basically it seems that they won't talk UDP to each other. When I try: nmap -v -v -sU <Linux_Hostname>, it just times out and increases the senddelay. I have a couple of BSD boxes on the network too. When I do a UDP port scan of them, they respond. However, when I port scan a Linux box, from either a BSD machine or another Linux machine, it won't respond. Does anybody know what is going on here? Regards, Chris Fletcher.

It must support udp, or you couldn't do nfs, and I use nfs a lot. Do you have the ports activated?
