I have the slackware 3.1.0 with 2.0.27 Linux kernel and I am trying to
configure the
xwindow to work with my video card : Trident 3D Image 9750 (PCI/AGP V4457 a)
with 4 Meg of memory. I tried differents configurations that didn't work.

I need any information that can help me to make the Xwindows works ok.

You will need to at least XFree86 3.3.2 or later, which you can get from
http://www.xfree86.org. You must use the SVGA server and if you need further
help, you can try checking out http://www.suse.org, I think that they have
modified an XFree86 server for that card. You could also look at the
documentation at http://www.xfree86.org or for a possible quick setup, you
could try http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Foothills/8328/

Good Luck
