7hz Presents
"Closing Statements"
Experimental Sound, Performance, and Projection Art.

Tonight's performances are not for the squeamish, faint of heart, the
easily offended, or art snobs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The spirit of the
Vienna Aktionists lives at 7hz as we bring you performances by some of
today's most intense, affecting, and controversial performers. Many
remember last year's performance of "Intent" by Death Squad which
aggressively threw into our faces the unique and perverse American
fascination/ disgust with the spectacle of violence and self
mutilation. The overheated global email discussion which followed,
polarized audiences into love/ hate camps which persist to this day.
7hz. is honored to bring you Death Squads final action and closing
statements: "Performance for Chair and Black Floor."
Additionally, Los Angeles Aesthetic Meat Front will begin the public
deprogramming with their first San Francisco performance in 2 years.
Their cathartic shamanistic techno-rituals use live electronics, blood,
body modification and lots of meat to break the disaffected strongholds
of the modern psyche and open the doors of the abyss.
Also performing are ambient noise artist Quell (from Cleveland) and
electroacoustic junkie Clairaudience (from Lafayette).
