The Adventure Continues...

The next meeting of Athena, a Northern Virginia Star Trek and science
fiction fan and community service organization is 

	 SATURDAY, March 16, 1996 at 1:45pm at
   Tysons-Pimmit Library on Route 7 in Falls Church, VA

	Group activities include:
	o Chapter newsletter: "The Wisdom of the Owl"
	o Working on ship design (currently Nebula class... and
		preparing modifications)
	o Establishing a cadet program
	o Doing community service (MDA Trek Run, MDA telethon, fund
		raising for the Challenger Center, etc.)
	o Doing security at conventions (Novacon, several people work
		at Shore Leave and Farpoint)
	o Attending conventions
	o Trek Murder Mystery dinners
	o Promoting fandom
	o Having fun!!

Future events include bowling outings, pizza parties, movie marathons,
astronomy nights, etc.  On May 18, we will commission as a Nebula
Class starship, USS Athena, NCC-51896.

We're active and growing!!
