HELP, I need somebody,
Just like John and the Beatles, I need help. We have purchased a
Toshiba Laptop (2210 CDT) looking to put OS/2 warp on it and
forgot about Soundcard compatibility. It uses the ESS 1978 chipset
and we cannot find a driver for it. ESS, Toshiba and IBM are no go
areas for success on this one. Can anyone come up with a solution?

This machine is used to demonstrate a radio automation system to
staff in remote areas and we really cannot afford to go out and
buy another laptop....

Looking forward to some directon,

Never seen an 19xy driver up to yet (drivers are only ESS internal),
only 18xy are OS/2 supported; maybe some homewriten driver?

Cheers
Sam
