Ziff-Davis are taking a survey of Win 95 installations, but included in are
questions of what OS you are running if not Win 95. Check it out at
http://www.zdnet.com/~zdi/win95/survey2.html
and promote OS/2

I took a look at the survey page, and decided to send a note to the
responsible person at ZD:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I was interested to note that your Windows 95 survey asks those who
do not use Windows 95 to skip over all the questions about their
experiences with the product. You seem to be assuming that all those
who do not use it have no experience with it.

However,it is possible - indeed, probable - that many respondents
bought it, installed it, and after evaluation, decided to use
something else. There are alternatives out there, after all, in many
cases better.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

It looks like a typical ZD 'survey'; either very badly designed, or
very well designed, depending on your point of view. "If you are
still using Windows 95, we'd like to hear your positive experiences
with it. If you tried it and gave up, for God's sake don't let us hear
any criticism of Microsoft".
