Skipper "A kiss is a rosy dot over the 'i' of loving" - Cyrano de Bergerac Bisous!! -- Florence Nguyen (T3) Believe it or not but I have no e-mail address! Perhaps because I don't know it :)

What was the French word for "loving" that he used? I can't think of any containing an "i."

Almost as nice as:
"votres lobes d'oreilles sont comme les te^tes des poissons"
which is a sickeningly romantic thing to whisper into a loved one's ear
provided said loved one doesn't know any French... comparing someone's
earlobes to fish heads is not a recommended technique for getting laid.

There is an oldie, for it must date back from the times when every gent had to wear a moustache, and it goes: "Un baiser sans moustache est comme une soupe sans sel" (a kiss without a moustache is like a soup without salt)
