[Q] Acoustic modelling software?

Hello,

Does anyone know any good modelling software?

We are a company of environmental acoustic consultants based in Dublin
(dealing with work place noise, industrial plant noise, and "nuisance
neighbour noise"). Until now, we have been using onsite monitors, processing
data and simply plotting to charts.

We would now like to use software to model 3D acoustic streetscapes /
environments as a presentation tool and / or calculation tool. I think that
design packages like Autocad are not quite suited to what we need.

If you are using any other software that you think is particularly
noteworthy we would be interested to hear about it.

Please reply directly to eokelly@iol.ie

Thank you.

Hey hey hey!!! what about the rest of us on the newsgroup who are interested in
the answers you receive?

The least you could do is to post a list of answers to the newsgroup; I find
your question interesting and would like to learn from others what noise
modeling software they recommend.

Thanks,

David
