Hi all, I am testing out the use of digital certificate within email. I created a .pfx certificate using the standard "keytool" program from SUN. After importing this certificate successfully into IE, I tried to use Outlook Express with it. Even though OE was able to find this digital certificate successfully, it also issued a warning message: "You do not trust this account's Digital ID." I am unable to proceed to send the email. How I do I get OE to trust this certificate? Thanks

See: http://www.ripe.net/db/mail_client_tests.html#Windows_Outlook_Express which described S/MIME tests for lots of mail clients including OE. From Internet Explorer, choose TOOLS->Internet Options. On the Contents page, choose Certificates. Find and select your certificate. Choose advanced and look at all the options available to you in the three tabbed pages. I believe you should see a message that permits you to edit the level of trust. Ed
