Having followed Lavigne's thread about his anti-tax campaign and his attack on
<arion@greek.poets> I offer the following comments:
	  - Lavigne has accused <arion@greek.poets> of being a forger/plagarist/coward
without even the tiniest fraction of circumstantial evidence, as though his accusation
sprang to light through divine revelation. How would you like it if your
employer/government accused you of theft/murder/rape/fraud etc and stated this as
sublime fact in a public medium without any substantiating evidence? This suggests a
strong case of libel/slander (and hints at the likes of the Spanish Inquisition).
	  - Lavigne has used the foulest language I have ever witnessed in any medium in
reference to <arion@greek.poets>. I am not surprised that <arion@greek.poets> would not
lower himself to answer a person with such an uncouth and uncontrolled tongue.
	  - Lavigne is so filled with self importance that he suggests that his
foul-mouthed accusations and slanderous attacks have made <arion@greek.poets> magically
disappear. I am not filled with Lavigne's self importance and can add a few other
plausible reasons:
		  - he overstayed his welcome in rec.arts.poems (which is the newsgroup
to which he posted almost exclusively).
		  - nobody liked him or his writing.
		  - he found interests besides the internet.
		  - he is poor and cannot afford his internet bill.
these are just a few, from the top of my head.

Your's sincerely

Thomas Scott
