Does this really work?? We've got networked copies of
WordPerfect 6.1, and, having loaded this patch according to the
instructions, I'm having no luck at all reading MS Word 6.0 documents
that were saved with the FAST SAVE option turned on. The patch didn't
seem to make any difference at all!
We don't have the option of telling the suppliers of the Word 6
documents to resave their work without Fast Save or in some other
format. Many of our users want to switch from WordPerfect to Word
for this reason alone!
Has anyone actually found that CVWW6X made any difference?? What
vintage of WP6.1 were you using? The "About WordPerfect" menu
selection in our Help says "Program Release: 11/4/94."
Was there something else you needed to do beyond what it says in
the README file that comes with it?
