    As for death threats, I've had many of those, myself, over the years.
And ONE time, in Mississippi, in 1964, I *wimped out* and took a circuit-
ous route back to my hotel.  After that, I resolved, NEVER again!! And 
have shown a  middle finger to those losers ever since.  The latter is
FAR more satisfying than the former!  (And other than a .410 shotgun
that I last fired 45 years ago when I scared a pheasant to death with it,
I don't even HAVE a gun.  Poor bird.  I never found even ONE single
