Matteo is an Italian friend of ours who is 14.
Since the age of 6 he has been suffering crises which the doctors call
"partial epilectic fits".
After all this time and countless treatments, first at Padua hospital
and latterly at Verona, Matteo is still suffering this illness.
His fits usually last only for a few seconds, starting from the left
hand and taking in almost all the left part of his face, and also
associated with subsequent respiratory crises.
We are looking for others who have experienced, or tried to cure, this
illness.

With much gratitude from all of us.

what you describe sounds like complex partial seizures. the w/u would
require an EEG and CT scan. if the CT scan is negative and the EEG shows
focal activity, then the treatment is antiseizure medications such as
phenytoin, phenobarbital etc.

Good morning both of you. My name is Franois Auger and I am a student in the
departement of chiropractic of the Universit du Qubec Trois-Rivires.

As I can see you first started by seeking medical help. I think it was the
right thing to do. Now your facing a problem. Nothing seems to work. Maybe it
would be good to seek an alternative route for Matteo's problem.

Chiropratic could not be consider the first step in the management of an
epilepsy problem but there is in the litterature some cases of individuals who
have improve there condition following chiropractic care.

Sorry for my english but it is not my mother language. If you have any
question about the possibilities of treatment contact me. I would be glad to
answer your question.

Good luck

Franois Auger

Habe ich hier eine voellig falsche Vorstellung, was "Chiropratic"
bedeutet, oder hat der sie nicht mehr alle ?
