Hi, I just take Paxil and I have actually noticed a decrease in my appettite. I don't feel hungery when I know I should ... Before I started Paxil I used to be hungery normally ie, at lunch and close to dinner time. Now I have to make sure I remember to eat or I start getting bitchy or light headed (low blood sugar). I've lost some weight (5-10 lbs? - I don't have a scale) but I also quit drinking too and I think the weight loss is more from that because I still eat the same I just have to make more of a conscious effort to. That's my experience with Paxil - I know it doesn't give you much insight into your question but I know quite a few people report weight gain on SSRI's - they say that they crave carbohydrates; bread, potatoes, pasta etc ... I don't know if that true but I've seen people discuss it on the OCD-L. I don't know anything about Haldol.
