Maybe the situation is changing. I recently attended an outdoor concert.
A group of teens sat down on a blanket right in front of where I was
sitting. One gawky kid came walking up to this group of friends. He was
holding hands with a gorgeous woman his age. She was drop dead good
looking. Both teens couldn't have been more than 5'5" tall. The boy and
his girlfriend kissed, then sat down with their friends on their blanket
and enjoyed the concert. Then the girl got up and wondered off after a
couple of songs. Two of the other girls who were sitting in that group
were all fawning over this gawky looking kid. These other girls were
also very attractive. It certainly wasn't his height that drew their
attention because he was slightly below average height and the girls
were all average height. My suspicion is that the guy is probably just a
good listener and treats the women nicely. Attitude is most of what most
women go for in a guy. I see it all the time.
