I think he was a hero and it's time for more Ted Kaczynskis around the
world.

If you were the Unabomber, who would be your first victim?

You.

As for the pastor, after four days of listening to science experts
dismantling the case for intelligent design, he was unimpressed. "They're
babblers," said the pastor, the Rev. Jim Grove, who leads a 40-member
independent Baptist church outside of Dover. "The more Ph.D.'s you get, it
seems like the further away from God you get." (NY Times, 10-2-05)

St. Ted is one of a kind, no one could possibly take his place.
Serial killers are a dime a dozen these days, it is rare that a
serial killer behaves so heinously as to become a celebrity.

St. Charlie comes to mind, although he didn't personally kill
anyone, his disciples killed a celebrity then made the crime
even more newsworthy by carving symbols into her flesh and
writing words in blood on the walls and doors. St. Jeffrey
is newsworthy for being a rare homosexual serial killer and
also eating his victims. The viewers especially love
cannibalism, some of the most famous serial killers have all
been cannibals - St. Albert, St. Ed, and St. Jeffrey are all
in the serial killer hall of fame.

Writing a manifesto is not necessarily interesting in itself,
many serial killers write something, but they are usually
long, rambling, incoherent paranoid rants. St. Ted's
manifesto was quite different, it outlined the destruction
of industrial society and made such a convincing and well-
written argument in favor of it that it's hard to dismiss it
as the ramblings of a paranoid schizophrenic. And he only
killed 3 people, nothing but an amateur in terms of serial
killing. If anything, he is a revolutionary, he kills not
because he enjoys killing, but because he feels it is
necessary to advance his political agenda.

You can call him a terrorist, he even refers to himself as
"the terrorist group FC." But his targets were carefully
selected, he was not the mundane serial killer who picks up
random prostitutes to murder, each of St. Ted's victims were
chosen to advance his revolutionary struggle to overthrow
the technological-industrial system.

And to ramble slightly, the Reverend Marilyn Manson (Church
of Satan) teaches that all people really care about are
dead celebrities and serial killers. Especially if the
serial killer kills celebrities, hence Marilyn (Monroe) and
(Charles) Manson.

"People with advanced degrees aren't as smart as they think they are.
If you'd had any brains you would have realized that there are a lot
of people out there who resent bitterly the way TECHNO-NERDS like you
are changing the world, and you wouldn't have been dumb enough to open
an unexpected package from an unknown source!"
-- St. Ted's letter to Dr. David Gerlernter

Guess you and serial killers have something in common.

What I'm about to say may sound like bullsh**, but it's true and I
could prove it if the need ever arose.

I lived in Helena, Montana for several years. I've been arrested by ATF
agents in Helena, Montana. I spent six weeks in the same isolation jail
cell that they kept Ted Kaczynski. (But at a different time) There is a
famous picture of Ted Kaczynski being escorted from the Helena, Montana
Federal building by two U.S. Marshals. I used to know the one on the
left, personally. He's the same one who used to escort me to and from
my hearings. He is a good guy. Very professional.

Irreguardless of whether you love or hate Ted Kaczynski, one thing is
undeniable. Ted Kaczynski was a genius. Technically, people on
Kaczynski's level are classified as "Superior", which is the highest
level of all. (Above genius)

Personally, I think Ted Kaczynski could have done a whole lot more good
or damage if he had stuck to words, rather than using improvised
explosives. Let the soldiers and peasants use the bombs. Someone with
his intellectual capability should have found a medium for his views.
If those views were just, I'll bet people would have lined up by the
thousands to help him.

I think that technology is causing us to isolate more. Each time I see
a cell phone at a rock concert, I want to vomit. I man or woman
standing next to someone could be dying of loneliness or aids, but the
person with the cell phone or laptop computer would never even notice
they were there.

He should have stuck with math.

Were you involved with some kind of militia like the Montana Freemen or
something like that?.

But don't forget this famous passage where St. Ted explains why he had
to resort to violence to get his message across to the public:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
"[F]reedom of the press is of very little use to the average citizen as
an individual. The mass media are mostly under the control of large
organizations that are integrated into the system. Anyone who has a
little money can have something printed, or can distribute it on the
Internet or in some such way, but what he has to say will be swamped by
the vast volume of material put out by the media, hence it will have no
practical effect. To make an impression on society with words is
therefore almost impossible for most individuals and small groups. Take
us (FC) for example. If we had never done anything violent and had
submitted the present writings to a publisher, they probably would not
have been accepted. If they had been accepted and published, they
probably would not have attracted many readers, because it's more fun to
watch the entertainment put out by the media than to read a sober essay.
Even if these writings had had many readers, most of these readers would
soon have forgotten what they had read as their minds were flooded by
the mass of material to which the media expose them. In order to get
our message before the public with some chance of making a lasting
impression, we've had to kill people."

Oh gawd, I can't STAND cell phones!!!! I did use a borrowed phone on a
trip to the city a few months ago, and even though I was just walking
down the sidewalk I noticed it had the effect of causing me to be
so absorbed so I didn't even remember where I had walked or the sights
I had passed. Driving while using one is inconceivable. Having been
nearly run down in parking lots by women in SUVs yakking away on their
phones, I now curse them by doing the flapping mouth gesture with my
hand as they pass.
