THis article is about the best time in your life , when you live in
the wonderful bliss that is
ignorance . That's right ignorance , and let me tell you it is a
beautiful thing .
This may sound idiotic to most of you but think of how wonderful it
was to be oblivious to the
troubles of life , to base all your choices in life on if it sounds
cool at the time not caring about the
results of your actions . While it is true that this often results in
pain heartache and sometime loss of
bodyparts , it is also from this youthful mentality that your best
stories come from , think about it ,
when you and your friend's get together it is not you every day things
that come up , it is not you
talking about the kids , the EX wife , the job or when you went out
for a pack of smokes , it is not
your trip to the pokinos , no it's none of that , what you often bring
up are stories from the wildest
happiest time of your life usually between the age of 15 - 24 { before
you had to join the real world }
it is the time when you finally have your freedom but very little
responsibility . ahh those were the
days .
Now you may wonder why I brought this up and what it has to do with
the single life . Well this is
simple . in this article I pinpoint where life { the single life }
goes horribly wrong . It is in the blissful
stage of youth that dating is easiest , {why is this you ask ? } well
its partly because in youth the
women you are dealing with have very few expectations , { if they find
you attractive your in }
when you are young { for the most part } there are no kids to worry
about , they haven't ran into
enough buttheads to spoil it for you , all that they are worried about
the only thought on their mind is
are you fun to be around . your skill's as a provider have occurred to
them at this stage . "when does
this change " .. you might ask ... well it is different for each woman
, if she has kids early then it
changes early , if she got married at 18 to a 30 year old and is
single again at 20 then she is used to 2
incomes already and will not take a step backward .
Now you may ask " what inpaticular is it about your early 20's and
late teens you miss so much " ..
well to this I'll try to think about it , hhmmm , the easy sex , the
women that judged me on my ability
to make them laugh , being impressed with the simple things like
having a car and an apartment ,
having no fear in life because I didn't know I wasn't immortal ? nah
it couldn't be that .
So to all of you still in your youth have the time of your life .
because THESE are the dayz you'll be
talking about till your in your 90's .

Who does this? (irresponsible people? ;-) But seriously are we not warned
constantly about the consequences of our actions and from an early age?
Don't take drugs they have bad consequences, don't have unprotected sex, get
good grades or you won't get into a good college .... you'll end up a bum
... you'll ....
Ok maybe before the age of, I don't know, 2 or so we truely are oblivious.
And maybe we are happy. I think that would be valid but I don't remember.
Heh, a note, it is odd that the thing we are never warned about is the
consequences of being unable to make connections to other human beings, this
falling between "civil" societies cracks, going completely unseen, our agony
confined to silent screams on a text based corner of the internet.
Nah, because we're good little boys and girls and don't cause trouble - or
only cause *ourselves* unhappiness.

? loss of bodyparts ? Don't date Lorena Bobbit it has bad consequences ....

This is true for me when hanging with old people from work. Blah it drains
me. The quote that's been given here is: we die at 25 and are buried at
80 - I'll buy that. Or maybe, they (society) would kill us at 25 if given
the chance....
The people who only talk about the past btw are not particularly future
oriented - they have memories - they don't have *dreams*. I need the future
because it's all I've ever had. The future is my favorite conversation.

Freedom - well that's a hard thing to have while living under your parents
roof - even parental financial support comes with enough strings to bind.

blah I've been afraid of death since I was like 6 years old - I used to go
to bed terrified of it.
nah

IOW if you're over 24 then what? kill yourself? You hear that sentiment a
lot around here - ah but NO I'm not buying that. I mean what kind of a
screwed up principle is that?!?
you'll be

At which point you'll forget everything anyway so ... ;-)
