LOOKING OVERSEAS

The process of finding the woman of your dreams and then winning her heart
isn't so difficult when we are aware of how to use all of our natural
leverage. Routinely, day to day, we fight the odds of economic and social
gravity in the U.S. dating scene (unfavorable supply/demand ratios, varied
love interests with different goals and unrealistic expectations), and it
rarely happens that we meet the woman that we've always dreamed about
meeting. It's true that there are very few places where a surplus of single
women exists, and there is always a great deal of competition for those

McNally Atlas Census Report reports that Russia, Latvia, and the Ukraine as
the three leading nations in the world with the highest ratio of women
available in relation to single men. When you add this to the fact that
Soviet men join the military after they have their eighteenth birthday,
leaving their home cities often to never return, you have ratios of women to
men in the dating ages that sometimes exceed 2-1, which is cataclysmic to
the
survival of the Russian population.

When was the last time you actually attended a social gathering where the
ratio of women to men was somewhere close to 2-1 or even 3-1, and all the
attention was focused on you, and you were simply overwhelmed by all the
options? This is the plight of the single man in Russia. It is not the
plight of the single man here in America.

1. BUYING ADDRESSES

Many firms on the Internet, in fact most of them, offer addresses for
purchase from mail-order catalogs or of "still photos" of beautiful foreign
girls posted on their Web Sites. In fact, most mail-order firms advertise
blindly in newspapers all throughout the greater Soviet Union to recruit
their supply of women. These internet firms don't know the girls personally,
and there is no filter to determine the following:

1. It's impossible to weed out the women of lower repute and weaker
character. This isn't good. If there are women with purely selfish motives
(interested in marrying a man for status to America only), there is no
mechanism in place to remove these women out of their service. As long as
the photograph looks like it will sell, this is the only thing that matters
to most address companies on the Internet. The price is right, and so there
is very little value being exchanged.

2. One single address of your Dream Girl will be sold repeatedly for profit
throughout the world. In these services, men are in competition for the best
looking photos, and just like in the U.S., many of these girls can
potentially get jaded and spoiled by the excessive attention.

3. Many unscrupulous women will use this as an opportunity to extort money
from their adoring suitors (This request is not at all unusual-- "My
grandmother is having an operation. Can you help me out financially?").

4. The addresses aren't necessarily current. Many of these women have
already been matched and now live in another country, or have married a
Russian man, or no longer live in the same flat than they did a year ago
when
they mailed in their photograph. The address companies don't care. Nobody
will complain for this price.

5. Quite often, the girls no longer look anything like the photos that are
posted on the Internet or in the magazines. It's not difficult to shoot an
entire roll of film of anybody, and take 1-2 flattering shots. An average
looking girl can look like a model if she has photos done professionally
with
a studio photographer.

6. Put simply, mail-order firms are just there for the quick kill. It's
lucrative to have a good-looking glamour photo which these firms can sell
ten
thousand times without any obligation to their clients to help them succeed
through this process. This approach is pure profit to them and explains why
there are hundreds of these companies in this industry.

This undertaking costs the most money in the long run despite feigning the
hope that there is a chance that it may actually cost the least. Beyond the
problems of taking an obvious leap of faith, most of the real obstacles of
doing this without the support of an agency come after a man tries to book
his trip overseas.

1. Flying to Russia isn't as simple as flying domestically. You need to
have a travel visa to enter Russia, and to get the visa, you need an
invitation. In order to get an invitation, you need to book a reservation at
a Russian hotel on your credit card. Not only is this expensive, but you
can't even bring a girl into your hotel room unless your date for the
evening
gets preregistered at the hotel.

2. There are pitfalls to traveling in Russia on your own which you can read
about in many travel brochures, but the main problem is the language
barrier.
If you don't have an interpreter, you will struggle to survive, let alone
communicate comfortably with your Russian girlfriend.

3. Each time you visit a girl in a select Russian city, you'll need an
airline ticket, a visa for each Russian country you visit, accommodations,
on
top of interpreter expenses, transportation expenses, and most likely you
won't meet more than one girl unless you're willing to travel to multiple
locations. This means that it is "do or die" with your dream match. The
minute you do meet your girl if the chemistry isn't there, or if she doesn't
quite resemble the photo on the Internet, then you're in big trouble, unless
you have some alternative plan. If you have other girls to go visit, then

tours to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kiev. The main problems with using this

1. The women are not screened. Again, they are invited from everywhere, and
arrive via trains generally after travelling sometimes for over a day or
two.
Because the women are overnight visitors, a man can match up with a
prostitute and never know it until he's already brought her to the States
and

2. There is an air of desperation. This is not one-on-one dating. Hundreds
of women are assembled together in the same room to be perused over by a

local bars or taverns, this "meat market" environment just creates an
