Help w/ old sys please!

I have an old DEC 2000 Model 300 AXP (aka DECpc AXP 150, the Jensen), and I
can't install WinNT 4.0 on it! The install process crashes with an
INACESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error code 7B when booting the kernel.

Another problem I have is getting a 3Com 579 EISA ethernet adapter supported
by the firmware.

System:
21064 150Mhz
128MB RAM
Adaptec 1742B EISA SCSI
Compaq EISA VGA
Quantum Empire SCSI HD
Pioneer 24x SCSI CD-ROM

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If this system was VMS and going to NT there is a setting that must be
changed on an Alpha at the SRM ( >>>). For a Model 4/200 the command is 'set
os_type nt'.

Don't know but maybe this is the problem. Maybe not.

It boots into the ARC part of the firmware, so this has been done.
