NNTP server problems.

Since I changed ISP, I'm experiencing problems when using get headers
in ConnectTHOR. Especially when there over a 100 headers to be
collected. What happens?

Simple : header transfer stops, I have to wait until ConnectTHOR says
'receive time-out'. Then close all ConnectTHOR windows, and try again.

I'm using Miami 1.92b and Thor 2.4 (with latest updates).
Changing back to Miami 1.1d or the 1.8.x versions did not change
anything. So I suspect there is a problem between ConnectTHOR and the
NNTP server.

My ISP : Demon Internet Holland,
dial-in point : Maarsen (0346-555387)

Yep, there have been several reports of this problem from users of many
different pieces of software with demon (UK) over the last few weeks.
Hopefully the problem has been solved with the latest incarnation of the
NewsBorg.

If the problem is still there by the end of this weekend post about it
again.

Followup-To: demon.ip.support.amiga only since IMO it is not a Thor problem :)
