A good share of the worlds population pauses tonight and tommorrow,
to celebrate the birth of a boy-child born nearly 2000 years ago.

If by chance, the influence of the sayings of that child have had a
positive effect on your life, then in his view, his birth, short
life, and foretold death will have been worth his suffering.

The fact that for the majority, we do treat each other in a
"Christian" manner, is testament that it was a worthwhile effort. If
only that thought could be spread a bit wider, not in an atmosphere
that creates disharmony and bloodshed because of differences in view
carried to extreme, but in an atmosphere of tolerance for each other
beliefs.

Merry Christmas all, Gene
