As was indicated in another response, the A3000 stock only came in two
flavors, 16MHz ad 25MHz, so if you had a 16MHz machine, you could
technically switch the speed to 25MHz for a 25MHz Processor.

Unfortunately, though, I have yet to see an A3000 motherboard that did
not have the 030 processor soldered to it.  The one I had, and those
that friends still have all have the 030/25 soldered to the
motherboard.  For this reason in particular, you should look more
towards an accelerator board.
