Just adding some additional info:
I have tried to install a later version of system 7 (the one just before
the version that reads pc word files), alas, it still crashes when i palce
the firt installer disk in, however i dont get an error 11 message, i just
get a blank dialogue box and when i press in the lower r.h. corner of the
box, it restarts (and crashes again).
Meanwhile, I have definately acertained that my PRAM battery is dead, do
you think this may be causing the problem? Could it be as simple as
changing the battery? How much will the battery cost (roughly)?
