I don't think any purely negative approach would work. On the other side a
positive approach (only known addresses admited) works but it is too narrow
and time consuming.

I think I found a (potential?) better anti-spam device in Eudora Pro 4
filters. I mean the filter which deals whith any msg which "intersects
nickname", that is when it selects msgs that contains any address(es)
registered under a nickname. PROVIDED there is a way of setting this filter
to "any nickname", you could then select the msgs from all known address,
that is all addressed mentioned in your nickname list; the rest can be sent
to the trash or less drastically to a semi-spam mailbox.
Even more flexible would be a jolly "any nickname which belongs to a
group".
At the moment you can do it manually, by setting up a nickname which
contains all the nicknames, which is a bit long and unwieldly
M
PS.:of course, an "any nickname" jolly would also be handy to send msg to
groups of people
