I would have to say that Canon would be the last printer to choose from for Linux.. They are in fact, ANTI Linux.. If you could believe it.. They have actually issued "cease and desist" orders on people writing canon drivers for linux.. Nuts.. HP and Lexmark have actually written drivers for Linux for their colour printers, so they may be a good choice to start with .
