I do....if SPAMer's e-mail harvester bot, which is a program that reads
the headers from NG postings and pulls the REPLY-TO adress into a database
used for SPAM lists, and pulls my "see@my.sig" adress and does not realize
it is a fake, then their database will keep trying to SPAM that address,
causing a reverse flood back to the SPAMer for an invalid e-mail address.
This also has the possibility of causing an additional bounce because
SPAMers rarely use a valid REPLY-TO themselves.

Of course, smart SPAMers will realize this and take the name off....not
much differently than mailhouses deal with invalid postal addresses, and I
credit SPAMers with at least that much intelligence.

In other words, to cure my own problem I create another one. Of course, I
can be vindictive and say that maybe if enough people did this, the
bandwidth suck would bother somebody enough to do something about it
finally.

I am doing it until a better solution presents itself. Yes, I could just
continue using my filters and let the SPAM increase exponentially every
month as it had been doing, but I got tired of filtering increasing
amounts of crap and waiting longer and longer to retrieve mail. Some of us
only have 33.6 connections, after all. At least my *real* mail leveled-off
to a certain amount of junk mail....the SPAM kept increasing, and I had to
do something to stop the flood, good or bad.
