Look, I don't know how you can possibly hold such an opinion. I am
paying for an email account per hour online, and every bit of email that
comes in costs me money. This is not the same as junk mail in a
letterbox, which costs the person doing it time and money and it costs
me nothing to drop it in my trashcan. If it is not legal to fax people
junk mail (in some parts of the world at least), why should it be legal
to email it?

It is a cancer on the net, and every effort should be made to eradicate
it.
