Well, you =can=, assuming the Mac file has been saved in MacBinary
format first. That puts both the Data and Resource Forks into a single
file, with an identifying header, so the PC (or UNIX, or whatever)
box(es) through which they pass won't strip off the Resource Fork. Same
thing if they are encoded as .hqx or uuencode.
