Beginning with Release 2.0 (2.1?) the Amiga OS came bundled with a set of 
tools to let it read/write to 720k MS-DOS formatted disks.  Copy your 
Amiga ascii files to the DOS disks, then insert the disks into your Mac.  
PC-Exchange should be able to read those disks fine.  Works for me.
