Hi all; I downloaded some software (quicktake.for.windows) to use on my pc. But the zip file unziped a file with the extension of *.4mb. I think it is either a disk image or a compressed disk. As I can open it in wordpad and see separate text files (readme ...etc..). What do I need to uncompress or turn into a real disk. So I can install the software.

Umm ... this being a Mac group ... you may get more help from a PC newsgroup. I use PCs too, and I have no clue what this is about ... BTW, QuickTake was the Apple digital camera from years ago ... I can't understand why you would be downloading that software. Or do you possibly mean QuickTime for Windows?? Cheers DCK In article <3b406755.1392516@news.adelaide.on.net>, goble@gtech (David. E.
