I have an ACernote Lite 370 series machine which accommodates two type I/II or one type III PC card. The manual is hopeless in many regards and doesn't spell out whether these are hot-pluggable or not. I figure there are two sides to this: (a) whether the PCMCIA standard requires hot-pluggability, and if so I presume the card/machine makers comply. (b) If the standard(s) are not specific on this issue, whether the card/machine makers actually achieve this functionality. The manual doesn't indicate whether the machne/ports are 1.0, 2.0 or any other standard release - which doesn't help. Rather than risk zapping the ports, I figured some here would know the answer. Any takers? TIA Peter
