Hello, I have multiple workstations ( CPQ Deskpro EP677, Dell Optiplex GX1) that I could use to throw in an Adaptec AAA133-SA RAID card and 3 IBM 4.5GB UW-3 SCSI drives. I'll keep the CDROM as IDE, no floppy anymore either. I've tried to do this, and install linux 7.2 on the drives, and during the install,(boot from cdrom), all goes well. Once I reboot, it complains about the absence of an OS. the config: 3 X IBM DRS34560, all on channel a no hardware Raid defined no software raid defined Grub is installed in MBR. I think it has to do with the impossibility of the CPQ to make the BIOS jump to the SCSI driv'es MBR, but I'm not sure. Any help, idea would be great, and rewarded with a few beers (belgia of course) gijs
