I'm sorry in advance for being off topic in some newsgroups
Ok, I have a new hard drive that is 13GB Western Digital
My old hard drive is set up just like this: 8GB IBM DHEA
Dell Dimension XPS_D300
HDA
HDA1=WINDOWS 2000 C:Drive NTFS about 1.5gb
HDA2=EXTENDED LOGICAL DRIVE
HDA2a=D:Drive Apps and such, FAT32 about 1.5GB
HDA2b=E:Drive GAMES FAT32 about 3GB
HDA3=Linux EXT2 about 1.4GB
ok, the problem is when I try to clone this drive it does jut fine till I
boot
then I get a very slow LILO trying to boot.
like this.
L wait about 2 minutes
LI wait about 2 minutes
LIL wait about 3 minutes
LILO wait about 5 minutes
Corel Linux Splash screen appears very slowly
I removed LILO fixed the MBR and now I boot with WINDOWS 2000 boot loader
but it is displaying the same symptoms
very very slow boot
I have tried every possible concievable thing I can.
Any ideas?
Doesn't seem like it's getting the boot record correctly, I can boot Linux
from a boot disk and it runs fine, but I can't boot from my hard drive.
I tried the -nolilo I tried the -ial everything I can think of.
