My Gateway Solo 9500 laptop has a RCA video output, which I have run though an S-video converter into my TV. I can get a good picture on the TV of my computer's desktop, but when I try to play a DVD that part of the screen is blank on the TV - it looks fine on the laptop. If I make the image full screen then again it is OK on the laptop but just a solid grey blank on the TV. I've tried switching video modes with Fn-F3 but that has no effect. What do I need to do to output DVD video to my TV? Thanks anyone.

Thanks, man, I should have thought of that. I couldn't see how to get the TV primary and leave the laptop panel secondary, but that doesn't matter so much. Thanks again!
