Odd SE440BX-2 problem - no 3D (OpenGL) screensavers in NT!

Four of the five 3d (OpenGL) screensavers do not work under NT4/SP5.
FlowerBox, FlyingObjects, Pipes and Text do not work; Maze does.

This has a Diamond Viper 550 video card as per Micron TS.

Is this the strange problem du jour?
