So, Dictoid, what you're saying is that your post is complete B.S.,
right?

And what rules are you in compliance with, dic?

Since when did this become a place for ads, hmmm?

Tell me more about the Orchid Videola video capture card. I have been looking for
one for a while now. Why is it new? Where did it come from?

Thanks,

Vinman.

HEY RYLES:

I still say Venture Memory has the lowest prices in the industry. I
check RAM prices all the time. They sell NEW RAM only and seem to do
well on very small profit margins.

I seriously doubt his prices can beat Infinity's.

I don't normally do this but someone has been really hyping Venture
Memory's prices. I hate to tell you this but their prices are FAR from
the lowest. Shoot, I'm just a little tiny guy here and I sell 1x36x70ns
($80 for singles and $75 in lots of 4 or more) cheaper than they (you?)
sell 1x32x70ns. The text below comes straight from their site.

1 X 32 - 70ns (4 meg) $88
2 X 32 - 70ns (8 meg) $148

Today's San Francisco Examiner has an article about Ram prices.
"I picked up 8 megabtyes of memory for my Pentium PC on Saturday and
paid $123." says the article. This writer lives in Mountain View.

Scott:

Sorry, I suppose there is no such thing as the lowest price on
anything. All I know is that when I bought memory, I looked
everywhere and they were the lowest. Next time I will not tell
anyone when I get a good deal.

I would like to know if their current prices are the lowest. Can
anyone tell us?

He is fortunate. He got it for the current wholesale price for non EDO, non
parity memory. Maybe he knows someone.

How about $59.00 for 4MB x 1x32 non-parity and
How about $109.00 for 8MB x 1x32 non-parity. Both were available
at the local computer expo in SE Penna.

Fry's Electronics is the store name. Try 408-733-1770 or fax
408-735-6950 (USA). They're the largest Electronics store in the Silicon
Valley. The $45. was a sale price not always offered. Limited to two per
customer. Over this weekend they upped the price to $49.00.

At a computer show in PA March 31, I saw 8Mb 72-pin non-EDO, non-parity
70ns memory chips for $109.
