Which Zeos MB is this? Please help!

I recently got a new motherboard to replace a fried one I have now,
but before I swap everything out, I wanted to check what the new one
supports. It is for a Pantera P90 that is over a year old.
My old board is labeled Zeos #100-0053-04, and is from around
January of 1995. Also, it is only configurable between 90 and 100 mhz
pentiums.
The new board has the number 100-0055-03, (assembly 010-0052-03C,
if that matters) and on the other edge it says that it is a Rev 3A
board.
Both boards have the same PCI chipset (Intel #S82433NX), but the
old board has an NCR chip to the left of the SIMM slots, while the new
one has an SMC chip. My questions are, does this board support the
same 256k external cache that I have on my old board? Does the new
board support EDO ram? Does it support Parity ram? Does it support
processor speeds over 100mhz? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

John - the new board is older than your old board, but it is a fully functional board, boards before 010-0052-01 did not have functional printer ports using the enhanced mode, and may also have had the keyboard beep problem that identified the older boards also. Your board is two rev's (-03C) above mine. Since it's the same flavor as my board, I would assume that it does not support EDO, the cache would be fine, no parity, and that it will not work correctly even with a 100mhz chip in it. My board will almost function correctly with the 100mhz intel chip in it (I only bought the P90, friend loaned me a P100), my tape drive bombs out after saving 4 meg (floppy based Conner TS850) every time when it's set to 100mhz with a 100mhz chip in it. later.... -- ================================================================== || mal@midohio.net | Mark Lynch ==================================================================
