I have a Zeos Pantera that was purchased as a P5-66 and upgraded to 90Mhz
with that silly little daughtercard. I recieved my replacement CPU from
Intel today (to fix the bug), and installed it. I now get Trap 000d's in
OS/2 non-stop, with cache on and off. I have 16MB RAM, a Adaptec 2940
SCSI card, and a Diamond Viper card. I think it has to do with the
crappy design on the daughtercard, I had problems with it before. I need
to know what I should do. My computer was out of service for 2 months
last time I had motherboard problems, and I cannot have this again. I
thought my problems with tech support were over, I hope everything goes
quickly this time, hopefully some good response time on the newsgroup
from the techinicians I see here, it would be greatly appreciated. Is
there a known problem with the voltage converter daughtercard and the new
bug-free pentiums (mine has an active heat sink if that matters). I am
also wondering if I put the old bugged Pentium back in if I will have
these problems. thanks

Intel said the whole reason why Zeos owners had their chips delayed was so they could do a production run so that those motherboards that used the daughtercards would work. I think that daughtercard is just WEAK as hell. Anyway, i have about 20 calls into Zeos, starting about a week ago, and I still have not recieved ONE callback. This company sucks. All I can run now is a brain dead OS, like DOS/Windows. I wish they would give me one of the new motherboards so this daughtercard problem would end. If they ever do get on the phone, they will have to send me a new motherboard, and this shit will go on forever. I may end up buying a new motherboard, anybody have any suggestions on manufacturers?
