Hello there again. Further reasearch into the Artecon/Sun 4/110 suggests that I have to use specific 30pin simms in the Sun 4/110. The sun reference manual lists 1 type of 30 Pin 256K SIMM (Model No. 501-1314), which happens to be compatible with the 4/110. It also lists five different types of 30 Pin 1MB SIMM. As for the difference between them, I wouldn't know (except for the 501-1697 which is 80 rather than 100ns). What I do know is that the only one to work (according to the chart) is the 501-1466. Why is this? Can't I use any RAM with an access time of 100ns or less? If not, then where can I get this RAM? Thanks in advance. Chris Fletcher
