If you have a SCSI drive with a 50-pin connector, it will be electrically
compatible. SCSI-1 and SCSI-2-narrow drives have regular 50 pin connectors,
and SCSI-2-narrow drives are the most common type of SCSI drive currrently
available.

Just that it must support 512 byte blocks, especially if it's to be used a
boot device.

There is only one type of AUI ethernet connector that I'm aware of - a
15-pin 'D' connector. This is common to every hardware platform I've ever
worked with (as well as Sun's).

Not correct. The standard RAM for an IPX is 4 or 16 meg 72 pin single-bit
parity RAM (33-bit). 36-bit RAM will apparently work, but I would presume
that *all* the modules have to be full-parity - I don't think they can be a
mixture of 33-bit and 36-bit.

You might be able to use an SVGA monitor if you program down the video mode.
I think the cg6 frame buffer will support 1024 x 768, but the vertical
frequency might preclude SVGA monitors from working with IPX's.

Craig.
