To all, I've got a situation where I have a Jumpstart server and some clients on the same network. While attempting to jumpstart the clients, I have some non-Sun systems (PCs running NT and OS2) attempting to respond to the "whoami" request from the client. I suspect that the "whoami" request is RPC in nature and would like to know what port number it is attempting to use. The rpc.bootparamd daemon on the Jumpstart Server normally listens to the request and send the hostname that the client is assigned to the client. Does anyone have any ideas? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
