HELP: SUNSoft PC-NFSPro PPP configuration

I need some help with anyone who has experience with SUNs MS-Windows based PPP
module in their PC-NFSPro product v1.1.  (Yes - SUN writes windows software :( 

I want to connect to my local ISP with this PPP module.  I can get it to dial
in to the ISP, request a PPP link, send my user name and password, password,
and it says "starting interface" in the status window.  But then about 60
seconds later I get "Interface configure timeout".  I have tried various
combinations of options in the configuration such as VJ compression on and off
etc, but all to no avail.

I comparison, the same ISP does support Trumpet Winsock based PPP links with no
problem.  But I want to be a masochist and use the SUN product.

Any help from experienced people is gladly welcome.  And could you please eMail
me as well as posting, as I am unsure of the stability of my newsfeed.
