A well done "made-for-TV" movie...

At least a four hanky rating....amazing depth in parts... the reality of
an untimely early death from cancer is portrayed with sensitivity and
feeling.

From the press release:


"... a heartwarming story about an unconventional romance between a free
spirited young man and a repressed professional woman whose chance
meeting leads them both to a deeper understanding of life and love.

Scott plays Michael Blake, a handsome business-school dropout who spends
his days escaping a painful past by riding the surf. He meets Susan
Allen (Nancy Travis) , who has recently quit her job as a driven
attorney in a law office and uprooted her life to move with her
twelve-year-old daughter to California. The couple's whirlwind romance
allows Susan and Michael to find their way back to intimacy and a deeper
appreciation of life."
