'Most Wanted' was cool! In a bizarre sort of way... It was excellent, it was the only thing that kept me alive when on an exchange trip in Germany "tonight we go to the ice cafe, again!!!". I was 15 yrs old in 1995 I used to really enjoy Most Wanted, on cable, I think it was encrypted then on satellite?! -- With kindest regards / Mit freundlichen Gruessen, Simon Docker http://www.sateuro.com

Well, not everyone likes the same type of comedy: some like Friends others like Monthy Python's Flying Circus. That's normal... But Ray is a funny guy and I'm not the only one who thinks that: he was the most popular VJ on MTV and people still talk about him even some who haven't seen/heard him for a couple of years... All the guys wanted her. She was funny. It was MTV before they did marketresearch on what viewers actually want. Except Remote Control, perhaps. Who doesn't like that game? (hosted by Ken Ober). It was really all about the cameraman don't you think? Rob the cameraman. I *do* remember the immortal interview he did in Cannes with Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?). "Hey, the text on your t-shirt is upside down" Ray cokes said. Arnold looks down with his chin on his chest, pulls his shirt a bit and mummbles... "yeah.. you're right". It was so funny that Ray made us believe that guy can read! ReindeR

Maiken had that special quality of not only coming into your living room through te-le-vision but also hanging in your favourite chair. While you would get up to fetch some more tea for both of you. Maybe not that funny, like Ray Cokes would make you a bit hyper like an overdosis sugar. I demonstrated with the anecdote in the previous posting why Ray was funny. Until he became aware of it. In the end I became really fed up with his cartoon-like grin in the camera. > Do you remember that Cari Wuhrer was the 'babe' in Remote Control??? That voice reading the specs of the prices, he was the best. The babe, I know there was a babe but what did she do? He was cool. Did she also read out the specs of the prices? Real avant-Wired technolust. ReindeR

Anything substantial or the same kind of thing? Does she do presenting or is she doing news/documentary work? ReindeR
