ANYONE INTERESTED IN CHATTING WITH USERS ACROSS THE INTERNET?
We are not IRC, MUDD but simple talkers that allows you to talk to people
in the internet. You register to get a password and login to a "room" to
talk to people with similar interests.
ALL OUR TALKERS DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 TO REGISTER. IT
CONTAINS SEXUAL CONTENTS AND ANYONE EASILY OFFENDED SHOULD NOT APPLY.
ESPECIALLY THE MORAL CRUSADERS AND RELIGIOUS FANATICS ARE ASKED TO STAY
OUT OF OUR TALKERS.
To register:
Send the name you wish to be known:
The port you wish to enter (please keep it to two, our most popular port
is 5013):
Your password will be sent to you so make sure the email address you use
is a legitimate one.
After you receive your password, the following will give you info as to
how to get to us.
We are now at sleepy.net
ports are 5000 - general chat <general.sleepy.net 5000>
5001 - women's group <women.sleepy.net 5001>
5020 - men's group <men.sleepy.net 5020>
5003 - exotic chat <exotic.sleepy.net 5003>
5007 - mystic castle <mystic.sleepy.net 5007>
5010 - the forest <forest.sleepy.net 5010>
5013 - the dungeon <dungeon.sleepy.net 5013>
telnet to the above address with port. EX: telnet general.sleepy.net 5000
then you are prompted by Login name: (enter the name you requested)
then you are prompted by password: (enter the password assigned to you )
then you will be in.
type .h for help
type .news for port info
and .h rules for rules to observe.
type .w for the list of who is currently on
wizards have a # next to their name.
Most users are friendly and is more than willing to help you.
If you should get a login incorrect, it means you have chosen a name used
by someone already.
If you should get a message each time you type in a letter, the message
should say "name too short", there may be couple of reasons, your local
echo needs to be turned on, or you have a firewall problem.
If it is a firewall problem, you may want to 1) change your terminal, 2)
bounce off another site or 3) ask your system operator.
a firewall problem is a security set up. It may be on your own system or
the connection routes.
Any further info needed you may contact sleepy@sleepy.net
