I don't know about the mini Hirens, but I use the Hiren's CD boot
disk. To find the program your looking for, you can CD to the ram disk
and copy the program to the ram drive, or open each .Cab file, the
.Cab name is a hint as to the program.

To make a bootable Win98 bootdisk on a USB pen drive, this is how I do
it.

Download  this HP utility, it will make the memory stick bootable.

-works on all types of Pen Drives not just HP.


Download Win98SE bootdisk (gives CD support)

Use Winimage to extract the Win98 boot disk file (.exe) to a
directory.

Run the HP utility and format the USB device, for a boot system point
it to the extracted Win98 Directory.

Copy the boot disk directory files to the Memory stick - skip the ones
already copied.

Boot up with the memory stick (bios setting) enable CD support. 

When your Pen Drive boots it will start complaining about something
hit Control+C to stop it from loading anymore - your in.

CTL+C cause it's just easier than explaining how to edit the
autoexec.bat and config.sys files.
